Booking terms
Faris in China booking confirmation, 10% deposit, changes, cancellation, airport waiting and quotation terms.
These terms describe standard chauffeur bookings with Faris in China. Your written quote sets out the vehicle, itinerary, included services and any agreed special conditions.
1. Confirmation and payment
An enquiry is not a confirmed reservation. After availability and the written quote are agreed, a 10% deposit secures your booking. The remaining balance and its payment deadline are specified in your confirmation. We accept credit card, PayPal and company bank transfer. Any currency conversion or payment charges are disclosed before payment.
2. Your itinerary and quote
Prices shown on this website are indicative USD ranges per vehicle. Your final quote depends on the date, airport or addresses, vehicle and requested arrangements. It identifies driver service and standard fuel for the agreed itinerary. Road tolls and parking are excluded from displayed prices and charged separately as incurred; any advance estimates are clearly identified. City-day prices cover 8 hours and 100 km; intercity ranges cover return travel from Shanghai. The quote defines the route and waiting allowance. Extra stops, overnight arrangements, special access charges, excess time and distance must be agreed separately. Late-night service is available by arrangement and any surcharge is stated in advance.
3. Time and waiting
Standard full-day city hire is based on 8 hours and 100 km unless your quote states otherwise. The quote states extra-hour and extra-distance rates. Airport pickup includes 60 minutes of waiting from actual flight landing. A delayed landing does not use up that allowance before the flight arrives. Contact us for flight changes, diversions or cancellations so that revised arrangements and any additional cost can be agreed.
4. Changes and cancellation
Send changes and cancellations in writing by WhatsApp or email. Changes depend on availability; any revised price is agreed before the change is confirmed. Standard cancellation refunds apply to the deposit paid, measured from the scheduled pickup time in China (UTC+8):
- 168 hours or more before pickup: 100% of the deposit refunded.
- 72 hours to less than 168 hours: 50% of the deposit refunded.
- Less than 72 hours, or a no-show: the deposit is not refunded.
Any exceptional terms for large events, multiple vehicles or specially arranged services are stated in the written quote before booking. If we cannot supply an agreed service, we will discuss a suitable alternative or refund the amount paid for that unavailable service.
5. Travelling comfortably
Provide accurate addresses, flight details, passenger numbers and luggage information. Child seats and accessibility arrangements must be requested before confirmation. Vehicle substitution, where necessary, is discussed with you. Travel times depend on traffic and local access arrangements; drivers do not provide specialist tour guiding or business interpretation unless separately arranged.
